The first week of January seemed to fly by. The kids didn’t go back to school until Wednesday and then it was soon the weekend. Getting back to normal was a little difficult last week. But it is the start of a new week so I can finally get back to normal.
My house seems to still be upside down from Christmas. There are still presents that need to be unpackaged and find a new place to live around the house. My house could do with a complete overhaul.
I have mentioned a few times in some of my bucket lists that I wanted to join skillshare and learn some new crafts. Well, the hubby signed me up for my Christmas present so I will admit that most of my time will probably be spent going through the videos and classes on there for most of the year. I have been practising my water colouring and want to improve my artistic skill.
This year I have also decided I am going to be doing most of my grocery shopping at Aldi or Lidl. I usually get an Asda delivery every week but have found that it seems to be getting more expensive and am easily spending £80-£100 a week on food and am not even sure where it is going. Last week my food shopping came to £60 and that included toilet roll for a month, cat food for a month coffee for a month and some other bits that won’t need replacing for at least a month.
You will all be glad to know that I have been reading over the past week. Something I have not done in a long time but has been meaning to make a regular monthly thing. I have finished Being Brooke by Emma Hart a book I have been reading for so long. I have also read Tank By M.Malone.
This month has started off well. How has the start of your New Year been? How was your first week of January?
